Privacy Policy – ShiftDesk

ShiftDesk respects users’ privacy. This policy explains the type of data the app uses, and how it is stored and used.

1. Data Used by the App

ShiftDesk allows the user to enter and save data related to organizing work and shifts, which may include:

  • The name entered by the user inside the app.
  • Gender, language, and appearance settings.
  • Shift schedules and work start and end times.
  • Attendance, lateness, absence, and permission records.
  • Sick leave, paid leave, and unpaid leave.
  • Overtime hours.
  • Clock-in and clock-out times and related alerts.
  • Notes and reminders created by the user.
  • Leave balances and limits set by the user.
  • Salary and deduction rules entered by the user to perform estimated calculations.
  • App settings and subscription status.

2. Where Data Is Stored

Shift, attendance, notes, salary, and settings data entered by the user are stored locally on the user’s device.

ShiftDesk currently does not provide a user account or its own cloud database, and does not upload this data to servers belonging to the developer of ShiftDesk.

There is no ShiftDesk-specific cloud synchronization between the user’s devices.

3. Subscriptions and Purchases

ShiftDesk offers monthly and annual auto-renewable subscriptions.

Payments, subscriptions, and purchase restoration are handled through the Apple App Store or Google Play depending on the device used.

The app may receive from the store the information needed to determine subscription status, such as the plan type, purchase or restoration status, and entitlement period. ShiftDesk does not receive the user’s credit card details or banking payment information.

Payment data processing and retention policies are subject to the privacy policy of the Apple App Store or Google Play.

4. Notifications

The user can enable ShiftDesk notifications to receive reminders about shifts, clock-in and clock-out times, attendance, and personal reminders.

The app requests notification permission from the operating system when needed. It also uses the device’s local time zone to determine the correct time to display notifications.

ShiftDesk does not use GPS location to determine the user’s location.

5. Images and PDF Files

The app allows the user to create or save summaries as an image or PDF. These files are generated from the data inside the app at the user’s request.

ShiftDesk does not automatically upload these files to a server operated by us.

6. Advertising and Tracking

ShiftDesk currently does not contain in-app advertisements.

We do not use the app to track users across apps or websites owned by other companies, and we do not sell personal data to advertisers.

7. Data Sharing

The developer of ShiftDesk does not sell or rent shift, attendance, notes, or salary data saved by the user inside ShiftDesk.

Purchase-related information may be processed by Apple or Google when their payment and subscription services are used, according to each store’s policies.

8. Data Deletion

The user can delete data saved inside ShiftDesk through the option:

“Reset all app data”

Deleting the app from the device may also remove its local data, depending on how the operating system manages app data and backups.

Because we do not maintain a ShiftDesk user database on our servers, we do not have an independent cloud copy of the shift, attendance, or notes records entered by the user inside the app.

9. Data Protection

We design the app so that the personal work data entered by the user remains on the user’s device as much as possible. However, no electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, and the user is also responsible for protecting their device and password.

We may update the privacy policy when adding new features or changing how the app works. The updated version will be published on this page with the last updated date changed.

1. Nature of the App

ShiftDesk is a personal tool that helps the user to:

  • Plan and organize shift schedules.
  • Record and track attendance, lateness, absence, permission, and leave.

  • Manage notes and reminders.
  • Track limits and balances set by the user.
  • Perform estimated salary and deduction calculations based on the information and rules entered by the user.

ShiftDesk is not an official attendance system affiliated with an employer and does not replace the employer’s official records.

2. Accuracy of Information and Calculations

The app relies on the information entered by the user.

Any figures related to salary, deductions, lateness, leave, or balances are estimated calculations based on the settings defined by the user and may differ from the employer’s official calculation.

The user should review their employer or the applicable regulations to confirm any official salary, deduction, or entitlement.

3. Subscription

Full access to ShiftDesk features requires an active subscription.

The app offers two subscription plans:

  • A monthly auto-renewable subscription.
  • An annual auto-renewable subscription.

The actual subscription price is shown to the user in the App Store or Google Play before the purchase is confirmed and may vary depending on the country, currency, taxes, and store policies.

4. Automatic Renewal

The subscription renews automatically according to the selected plan unless the user cancels renewal through their store account settings in accordance with the terms of the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Payment, renewal, and cancellation are managed through the store used for the purchase.

5. Subscription Expiration

When the subscription expires, data saved in the app remains available for viewing, but editing data or adding new data may be disabled until the subscription is activated again.

6. Restore Purchases

ShiftDesk includes a restore purchases option for users who have an eligible subscription linked to the store account used.

The restoration process depends on the information provided by the Apple App Store or Google Play.

7. Data Storage

The user should be aware that app data is stored locally on the device, and ShiftDesk currently does not provide its own cloud synchronization service.

The user is responsible for protecting their device and data. Deleting the app, resetting its data, or losing the device may result in the loss of some or all local data depending on the device backup status.

8. Reminders and Notifications

Notifications and reminders are provided as an assistance feature only.

We do not guarantee that every notification will be delivered at the scheduled time, as notifications may be affected by device settings, power-saving mode, operating system settings, or notification permissions.

The user should not rely solely on ShiftDesk for appointments or times where missing them could result in harm or liability.

9. Acceptable Use

The user agrees to use ShiftDesk lawfully and not to use the app for any activity that violates applicable laws.

The user may not attempt to disable the app, reverse engineer it, tamper with subscription mechanisms, or bypass paid restrictions through unauthorized methods.

10. App Availability

We may make updates, fixes, or changes to ShiftDesk to improve the app or add or modify features.

We do not guarantee that the app or all of its features will be available without interruption at all times, particularly when there are issues with the device, operating system, App Store, or Google Play services.

11. Limitation of Liability

ShiftDesk is provided as an assistance tool for organizing work.

To the extent permitted by law, the developer of ShiftDesk is not responsible for decisions made by the user based on estimated calculations within the app or for data loss resulting from deleting the app, device damage, or the absence of a backup.

The app is also not responsible for differences between the results displayed in it and the employer’s official records or calculations.

12. Intellectual Property

The ShiftDesk name, app design, content, software, and related elements are owned by their respective owners and may not be copied, redistributed, or exploited without permission, except as permitted by law.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for reviewing your appointments and reminders.

Delivery of every notification cannot be guaranteed because notifications may be affected by factors including:

  • Device settings
  • Focus modes
  • Notification permissions

You should not rely solely on Reminder Planner-Time for emergencies, critical medical appointments, legal matters, financial matters, or other highly time-sensitive situations.

3. Annual Subscription

Full access to Reminder Planner-Time may require an annual auto-renewable subscription.

The actual localized subscription price is displayed by the App Store before purchase confirmation.

Payment is charged to the Apple account used for the purchase upon confirmation.

The subscription automatically renews unless it is canceled in accordance with Apple’s App Store subscription rules and settings.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple subscription settings.

Eligible purchases may be restored using the Restore Purchases option within the app.

4. Payments and Refunds

Payments and refund requests relating to App Store purchases are processed by Apple.

We cannot directly issue refunds for payments made through the App Store.

Deleting the app, losing the device, or changing certain system settings may result in loss of locally stored data.

The app may receive purchase or subscription entitlement status required to determine whether the user has access to paid features.

We do not receive or store your full payment card or banking information.

Apple’s privacy policies and terms also apply to payment processing.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Appointments, reminders, notes, and planner information are stored locally on your device.

You can delete appointments and reminders from within Reminder Planner-Time.

Deleting the app may also remove locally stored app data, subject to iOS storage and backup behavior.

If you contact us by email, we may receive your email address and any information you choose to include in your message.

This information is used only to respond to your request or provide support related to Reminder Planner-Time.

We do not use support communications for advertising purposes.

Reminder Planner-Time هو تطبيق لتنظيم المواعيد والتذكيرات والتقويم والمساعدة في إدارة الوقت.

أنت مسؤول عن صحة المعلومات التي تدخلها إلى التطبيق وعن مراجعة مواعيدك وتذكيراتك.

2. الإشعارات والتذكيرات

يوفر Reminder Planner-Time إشعارات محلية كوسيلة مساعدة للمستخدم.

لا يمكن ضمان وصول كل إشعار في جميع الظروف، لأن الإشعارات قد تتأثر بعوامل تشمل:

  • إعدادات الجهاز
  • وضع التركيز
  • صلاحيات الإشعارات
  • إعدادات النظام
  • إيقاف تشغيل الجهاز
  • تغييرات نظام iOS

لذلك يجب ألا تعتمد على Reminder Planner-Time وحده في حالات الطوارئ أو المواعيد الطبية الحرجة أو الأمور القانونية أو المالية أو غيرها من الأمور شديدة الحساسية للوقت.

3. الاشتراك السنوي

يظهر السعر الفعلي بعملتك المحلية في App Store قبل تأكيد عملية الشراء.

يتم خصم قيمة الاشتراك من حساب Apple المستخدم لإتمام عملية الشراء عند تأكيدها.

يتم تجديد الاشتراك تلقائيًا ما لم يتم إلغاؤه وفقًا لقواعد وإعدادات الاشتراكات الخاصة بـ Apple.

يمكنك إدارة الاشتراك أو إلغاؤه من إعدادات الاشتراكات الخاصة بحساب Apple.

يمكن استخدام خيار Restore Purchases داخل التطبيق لاستعادة المشتريات المؤهلة.

4. الدفع والاسترداد

تتم معالجة المدفوعات وطلبات الاسترداد المتعلقة بمشتريات App Store من خلال Apple.

نحن لا نستطيع تنفيذ استرداد مباشر لمبالغ تم دفعها عبر App Store.

5. البيانات المحلية

يتم حفظ بيانات التخطيط في Reminder Planner-Time محليًا على جهاز المستخدم في الإصدار الحالي.

أنت مسؤول عن المحافظة على جهازك والنسخ الاحتياطية المناسبة لبياناتك.

قد يؤدي حذف التطبيق أو فقدان الجهاز أو تغيير بعض إعدادات النظام إلى فقدان البيانات المحلية.

يمكنك تعطيل الإشعارات أو تغيير صلاحياتها في أي وقت من إعدادات جهاز iPhone.

3. الويدجت

يوفر Reminder Planner-Time ويدجت للشاشة الرئيسية لعرض المواعيد والتذكيرات المخزنة محليًا على جهازك.

يتم استخدام البيانات اللازمة لعرض الويدجت داخل بيئة التطبيق والجهاز، ولا يتم إرسال محتوى المواعيد أو التذكيرات إلى خوادم تابعة لنا.

يمكن أن تتيح الويدجت للمستخدم تحديد بعض العناصر كمكتملة مباشرة من الشاشة الرئيسية.

4. الاشتراكات والمشتريات داخل التطبيق

قد يتطلب الوصول الكامل إلى Reminder Planner-Time اشتراكًا سنويًا متجددًا تلقائيًا.

تتم معالجة عمليات الشراء والدفع والتجديد والإلغاء واستعادة المشتريات من خلال Apple وApp Store باستخدام StoreKit.

قد يتلقى التطبيق معلومات حالة الشراء أو الاشتراك اللازمة لمعرفة ما إذا كان للمستخدم حق الوصول إلى الميزات المدفوعة.

نحن لا نستلم أو نخزن بيانات بطاقتك البنكية أو معلومات الدفع الكاملة الخاصة بك.

7. التواصل مع الدعم
